Treating mild syphilis

Syphillis is a common and dangerous disease, which can be transmitted from person to person through sexual intercourse. Infectious syphilis is caused by the bacterium Treponema pallidum. About three-fifths of cases occur to men. If untreated, syphilis can cause serious effects such as damage to the nervous system, heart, or brain. Syphilis untreated can be fatal.

The disease can also be transmitted from mothers who suffered from syphilis to the fetus she carried. If not immediately treated, the infection will spread and damage the other organs. Some other complications that follow are neurosyphilis syphilis, problemsin the heart and blood ,damage to skin tissue and bones ,blindness ,and even death .

The first visible signs of the disease is usually wound or ulcers, called a chancre. This chancre arises 2 to 5 weeks after sexual intercourse with a person with syphilis. Chancre sores that look like pimples, blisters or ulcers of the wounded. Chancre is usually found in the genital area of men or women (or less often again on the lips, fingers, anus or mouth). Ulcer is filled with germs, which are easily transmitted to others.

Ulcers are usually painless, and if present in the woman's vagina may not realize that he suffered from syphilis but he can spread it to other people easily. Chancre sores only last a few days and then go away without treatment, however, the disease continues to spread throughout the body.

A few weeks or months later, neck pain can occur, mild heat, injuries to the mouth or swelling of the joints. Or any of these signs can appear on the skin such as: pimples or a rash all over body pain; stripes which form a circle, and an itchy rash on the hands or feet. These three signs can usually disappear by themselves, and the sufferer thinks he has recovered, but the disease still exists.

Without proper treatment, syphilis can attack any part of the body, which causes heart disease, paralysis, mental illness and many other disorders.

If the rash on the skin visible for days or weeks after the discovery of acne or ulcers on the genitals, this sign may indicate disease syphillis. If you doubt it, ask your doctor for advice.
