Uses and benefits TURMERIC


Turmeric is one of the medicinal plants that has many benefits.Turmeric is rarely used alone to make traditional medicine herbs, usually combined with various mixtures. Rhizome of this herb is very useful to treat several diseases, among others, as follows:


Treating menstrual noncurrent
To make this concoction consists of several materials including: 1 rhizome turmeric, ½ teaspoon coriander, ½ teaspoon nutmeg, and ½ handheld sarigading leaf. All the ingredients until finely ground.Ingredients are boiled with 1 liter of water in a saucepan until boiling. After boiling, cool the boiled water is then filtered. Drink filtered water is 1 cup per day.


Overcoming the tonsils.
1 or 2 turmeric rhizome, 1 lime and 2 tablespoons of honey. Grated turmeric, lime extorted to take water, then mixed with ½ cup of honey in warm water. Stir the mixture is then filtered. This herb is taken 2 times a day.

Treating hepatitis
Provide 1 turmeric rhizome for finger, washed, and then shredded.Grated turmeric is mixed with 1 tablespoon honey and 2 tablespoons hot water. Squeeze and strain the mixture. Drink the potion 3 times a day until healed.

In addition to treating these diseases, turmeric is also efficacious to treat gastric (stomakhikum), as a stimulant, neutralize toxins, increased appetite, and as a carminative or as stimulating the release of stomach gas.
