Chickenpox


Chickenpox or varicella simplex is an infectious disease that attacks the skin. The disease is caused by the varicella-zoster virus infection.

At the outset, the patient will feel a slight fever, colds, feel tired, lethargic, and weak. These are typical symptoms for a viral infection. In more severe cases, can be found joint pain, headaches and dizziness. A few days later reddish spots on the skin of a small "was first discovered around the chest and abdomen or back and then followed resulting in limbs and face.Spotting the blister containing clear fluid and fragile and creates a scab on the skin. If there is an infection, pus-filled bubbles and can cause deep scars on the skin.

For the period of rest and treatment the patient should be placed in separate rooms until the scab dries. This treatment is to avoid transmission to other family members, and usually about 1 week after onset of rash.
During fever, the patient should not bathe as usual. After the fever down, take a bath with cold water mixed with baking soda.

To avoid itching, talcum powder should be given that contain menthol, thereby reducing the friction that occurs in the skin so not a lot of irritated skin. For people with sensitive skin can also use talcum powder salycil that does not contain menthol. Make sure the patient is also always eat nutritious foods to speed up the healing process itself. Consumption of fruits that contain vitamin C like guava and red tomatoes which can be made juice.

The combination of several herbs can be mixed into traditional medicines that can cope with chickenpox, such as the following:

For use in:
Method 1:
Temu lawak 30 g, 25 g kencur, tamarind 15 g, 15 g of ginger, washed and cut into pieces, then boiled with 600 cc of water until the remaining 300 cc, filtered, water is taken 2-3 times daily.
Method 2
30 g temu lawak, 20 g kencur, 15 g ginger, turmeric 20 g, 10 g seedless tamarind, washed, pounded, boiled with 600 cc of water until the remaining 300 cc of water, filtered plainly. Drink as much as 100 cc 3 times a day.
Method 3:
2 ripe noni fruit are washed and juiced, or shredded and take water, then drink. Do it 2-3 times a day.
Method 4
Turi bark of 1 finger, 2 noni. Wash all the ingredients, then ground.Boiled with 400 cc of water until the remaining 200 cc. Drink 2 times a day.

For external use:
Method 1:
Turmeric and tamarind pulp to taste each of finely ground, add coconut oil to taste, boiled briefly, when cool spread on the skin of the affected chickenpox.
Method 2:
Tamarind leaves and  turmeric  to taste each washed and crushed, then used to lubricate the skin that itch because of chickenpox.

After a healing period of varicella, can proceed with the scar treatment caused by consuming lots of mineral water to neutralize the kidney after taking the drug. Consumption of vitamin C or placebo directly from fresh fruits such as guava juice, tomato juice and wine. Vitamin E for skin moisture can be obtained from the placebo, a drink of aloe vera, or seaweed. Use extra moisturizing lotion that when the wound is completely healed is necessary to avoid further irritation.
